CMG Homes uses Cypress Pine in both the frame and roof trusses. Cypress Pine is rot resistant and provides superior strength with less shrinkage compared with normal pine.

Termites hate Cypress Pine. We believe the combination of Cypress Pine framing and roof trusses together with full stainless steel termite protection around the perimeter and the penetrations to the slab of the home provides the best protection against termites.

We choose not to use waffle pod slabs and prefer a traditional footing and slab foundation with a 3-brick base.
